McPherson Public Schools is proud to announce that Mr. Todd Beam will transition to McPherson Middle School as Assistant Principal for the 2023/24 school year.
"After 15 years serving Roosevelt Elementary, I am ready for a change in my educational journey," Mr. Beam said. "I have loved my years at RES and am very proud of the many things we’ve accomplished including implementation of MTSS Reading, MTSS Behavior and a PBIS program, Redesign initiatives including Tribe Time and Porch Visits, becoming a Capturing Kids’ Hearts National Showcase School and most recently our curriculum work during our weekly PLC meeting times. Having started my teaching career at MMS in August of 1993, I am very excited to have the chance to walk the halls of MMS once again and work with the students and staff!"
"Mr. Beam is well known across the district and community for his ability to develop rapport and establish relationships to ensure student success," said Dr. Shiloh Vincent, Superintendent. "We are excited to see the positive impact his presence will bring to McPherson Middle School."
McPherson Middle School Principal Mrs. Inge Esping shared, "We are so excited to have Mr. Beam join the MMS team. Mr. Beam has such a strength with relationships and a deep knowledge of our district that will help further propel MMS towards our school's goals."
